YUI (Yui Yoshioka)

I bet you already know YUI (yup, all caps!), right? She is a jpop/jrock artist who sang few songs from the popular anime series, Bleach namely: LIFE (5th Ending theme) and Rolling star (6th Opening theme). She recently became very popular in Japan (and across the globe) because of her great talent in singing and in playing the guitar. She also composed all of her songs which made her twice as great! Aside from those, she also plays a good actress, which proved in her first movie Taiyou no Uta (Song of the Sun). It was pretty awful that she died in the movie, though.

This September 26, 2007 will be the release of her newest single, which is Love & Truth. Unfortunately to say, I don't think I'll have this chance of buying one since it's not available here in the Philippines. *oh well* When I have this chance to travel in Japan...I'll go nuts buying YUI CDs and of course, anime collectibles. Oh yeah, speaking of YUI's CDs, I've seen on YUI-net her second-to-the-latest single which is entitled My Generation/Understand. My Generation is really great!! *better than Understand, I'd say*. I love the music video - and as usual, her beauty is reigning.

YUI News. As what I've heard in the YUI-fan forum, the next single of YUI will be JAM. I don't know if it's just a rumour but anyway, I've heard the song+watched its PV version, so it may be possible ^^. However, I was surprised that its PV is out already. (Just watch it out at YUI-net.com, it may appear there.) My comment about the music video: As usual, two thumbs up for YUI. It's all black and white, but modernized. It was my very first time that I'd seen her wearing a skirt..., and she's absolutely pretty! ^^

Just like Aqua Timez, the Bleach anime lead me in becoming a fan of YUI. Bleach had given me the chance to know these 2 idols of mine, so I would like to say thanks to those who made the series, especially for Tite Kubo.
