Yes, I know - almost all Filipino Pokémon fans hated Cartoon Network for not continuing Pokémon at season 5. Why, fans even bother creating a thread [forums] just to express their hatred to the said channel! I am, a Pokémaniac, also felt pretty bad about what happened. I mean, in America, CN might've aired the Sinnoh season already. But how come here in the Philippines, we're stucked at season 4? CN had created so many Pokémania already as a back-up for those who've missed a certain episode. And that's too much - they're exaggerated. ![]()
Finally, after waiting for I-don't-know-how-many-months, our wish was granted. CN now brings Pokémon's fifth season - Master Quest. It will start this Monday, November 19, at 7:30 PM. I was kinda surprised that CN would still continue on in showing Pokémon seasons, but I guess I should've expect the unexpected. Even so, this brings a good news since those who can't find Pokémon DVDs can still continue to watch out as Ash and company continues their journey. ![]()

Current mood: exhausted yet satisfied
CAT or Citizenship Advancement Training, as few people know, only comes during the student's fourth year in high school. I am, and really, one of the so called "Privates", the one who undergoes this kind of military training. Actually, bragging about what goes on in this training is prohibited, unless you'll gonna share it to other CAT members. But in my case, haha...who cares? After all, not a schoolmate of mine knows the existence of this blog
. What's even more important is that I'm able to share some of the significant experiences that I had - and one of these is our first (and last) CAT Sportsfest. To find out what happened, read on!
Well, our sportsfest actually occured just this morning. Starting the day itself is tough since you have to wake up early (in my case, 5AM), knowing the fact that the sportsfest starts at exactly "0800 hours" (they call this as military time). We still have to practice our cheer+presentation so we have to be early. Unfortunately, we're really doing our very best from the very beginning of the game, since losing will affect our Platoon rank. Platoon rank rages from 1-4, Alpha 1st, Alpha 2nd, Bravo 1st and Bravo 2nd. Since we're on the first section, we were assigned at Alpha 1st or the highest group of privates. The sportsfest is used by our CAT Commandant as an instrument in determining the platoon who deserves the highest platoon rank. Of course, we all feared demotion, so we did our best - but I guess, our best wasn't enough. We did score as the highest, halfway of the game but the next, haha...we lost our energy, perhaps. Even after that, we still enjoyed the games - especially the obstacle relay
. Although it's a complete obstacle, it's fun in one way or another - imagine being wet during the game! It was quite sad losing though (especially in tug-of-war!), but that's expected in a section with only 5 boys and majority are girls. (Yes, that's how our section has been since first year
. )
The competition goes like this, in everything you do, it will correspond to a cetain point. Cheer, costume, skills, abilities, discipline, cleanliness in eating, organization - each contributes on the platoon's total score. The first event comes a test, wherein the platoon will undergo 6 stages (randomly) that matches to a certain task. After we had the lunch, we've moved on to the "laro ng lahi" and played Patintero, followed by Tug of war. We completely lost on tug of war, and won just once on patintero. This started our downfall, followed by the 2 obstacle relays. I didn't join on the first one since it's messy, so decided to join on the second one instead. Well, it also requires untidyness but I'd say the first one is worse. I did enjoy the splashing, and rolling although we lost...haha..at least I had fun. ![]()
What I hated this day is that one of my groupmates, which is a COCC, had an accident. It was on this test called "Freefall" wherein your other groupmates will serve as the support on your fall - just like on cheering competitions. It's not because she fell without support & fell on the ground (ouch!) but actually, she IS one of the supporters. It goes on like this, one of my classmates did the 'fall' thing, and all of the sudden, one of the supporters had a bleeding (the COCC I'm talkin' about). I don't know why, but her lower eyelid bled quite a lot. Fortunately, our commandant stopped the bleeding instantly after giving her medical assistance. She was later taken to the hospital. I totally pity her and felt like I want to give her moral support. Same way for my classmate who did that falling part. She feels that it was all her fault and seeing her cry is so unnatural (she's our class comedian). As of now, the injured COCC (dunno her name) is fine and that gave me quite a relief.
I am hoping that another CAT Sportsfest will be held (with no 0% injuries, of course!), but unluckily, I don't think so..., that's why I said "first and last". ![]()

Before anything else, I just wanna greet y'all - Happy Halloween! Wah...I know it's too late..but that won't hurt anyone anyway.
As expected, my halloween ~ and my semestral break ~ didn't turned out well. Aside from the fact that it was TOO SHORT, me and my family didn't have the chance to go to our province. I really want to go there so badly *who cares if there are ghosts!*. Everytime I visit there, I feel like life's very easy - a perfect place for a slacker like me! Now that I've mention the term "slacker", I've suddenly remembered about my assignments - the third quarter will begin this Monday, and I still haven't finished a single homework! (My school is giving me a headache ~ psy...psyduck!!!)
Anyway, the only thing that gave me a little enjoyment this sem break is my computer...and I happen to watch another anime - Fate/Stay Night! I kinda hate Animax for dubbing it - or rather, DUMBING it in English.
Oh yeah, our field trip will be this month - AND IT SUCKS. My school's surely got a big wound on its head - we've visited [those] places already, and here we go again. My mother told me not to go, but my reasoning "last year ko na po eh.." aww... Thinking about that makes me even more sad. I don't wanna go to college!!! If possible, I'll let myself fail...but that could mean WAR! ![]()

Currently Listening: 小さな掌 (Chiisana Tenohira) by Aqua Timez
After having their release for the Bleach's 6th opening [ALONES] last September 09, '07, Aqua Timez is back for another single this October 31, '07 entitled Chiisana Tenohira (小さな掌). I've seen this title on the internet about a month ago, and I never expected that that's the next single that Aqua Timez will officially release. I've seen both the music video as well as downloaded the full version of the song. And as I always say, two thumbs up for Aqua Timez!
Well...what more could you expect? It's aqua Timez we're talkin' here.
Additional Information: Chiisana Tenohira or "The Palm of a small Hand" in English is actually the theme song for the TBS drama entitled, "Joshi-deka! -Joushi Keiji-", starring Nakama Yukie (the one who starred as Kumiko Yamaguchi in Gokusen Jdrama). This album is also Aqua Timez' 5th Single! *Hooray for Aqua Timez!!*
By the way...Futoshi, the vocalist, had changed his hairstyle once more (see the PV version of Chiisana Tenohira). I was kinda disappointed since the first look he had is much better...but anyway, as long as the band's staying alive, Futoshi's still singing..it doesn't matter. ^^

To be honest, I really hate myself for not posting this news earlier.
I mean, yeah... it has been such a long time since I've visited Aqua Timez' official website and well...I'm kinda late on the news *sigh*. But anyway, after I heard about this news...I immediately searched for it's music video at Youtube, as well the site wherein I can download the full verson of this song. Luckily, the website is hosted by Media Fire, so there's a probability that it's link can be distributed.
Unfortunately to say, I've searched and searched yet I haven't found a single LYRIC of this song *darn it!* Anyway, to download this song, go to the MP3 Downloads section and look out for the link of Chiisana Tenohira. Enjoy listening!!
You'll know once you've heard it.
Edit (10.30.07): Finally, I found the romanji lyrics of Chiisana Tenohira last night, including its English translation. Thanks to Black Rabbit for accepting my request.
